This is part 2 of the mini text link buying guide and follows on from where we left off on part 1 of the mini text link buying guide.
Where to find links for sale
I mentioned in the last post that a good source of link sellers and buyers is Digital Point, a webmaster forum. I have tried other forums but DP wins hands down for sheer targeted traffic.
Browsing the forums you will find many different text links for sale. This is good as it allows you to easily compare prices and investigate potential returns. First of all we need to decide how long we want to buy links for.
There are costs and benefits of each time frame. Monthly subscription means that you pay for a month at a time. You have the option of cancelling your link at any time but you will find the price slightly higher for that privilege.
Buying a yearly link or a link for X amount of months means you can negotiate a lower price but once the link has been purchased that’s it, there’s no cancelling.
You need to decide if you think a site will return enough benefits for you to purchase a long term link or whether you would rather reduce your risk by going with a monthly option.
In the next instalment I will show you the essential tools you will need to be able to research a site and how you can reduce your investment risk.
