When I first started to look at the whole paid reviews market I didn’t quite realise how many companies where offering opportunities where you could either get paid to write about a site or promote.
First up out of the stable is Pay U2 Blog. For some strange reason they have a cowboy theme to their site which seems strange as a cowboy here in the UK describes a person who rips you off. Not the sort of theme you would want to be associated with.
Anyway design aside this paid review site aims to deliver a more personal service to bloggers and advertisers. They aim to provide a constant stream of reviews for you rather than having to compete for paid reviews. There has been some rumblings in the blogosphere about slow repsonse from some of the big players so Pay U2 Blog may well breath a much needed breath of fresh air into the paid to blog market.
Another newish player into the paid reviews market is Blogitive. Similar to PayPerPost you get to choose to review sites from a bank of press releases provided by advertisers. At the moment they seem to be paying a flat rate of $5 per review paid out weekly via PayPal.
