Goodbye Blogrush

It was over a month ago I installed Blogrush to test it out. It’s now time to get of the fence and give some sort of review.

BlogRust

We’ll the Blorush widget has been rusting away below the fold as is their reporting system which has been in the progress of being updated long enough for the rust to set in. I’m afraid it is time to send the widget to the scrapheap so it can be recycled into something useful.

Blogrush takes up quite a bit of real estate and does not perform very well. I probably would not have had any traffic at all if it wasn’t for one of the webmasters with a high traffic site signed up using my link (thanks whoever that was). Unfortunately that is not enough to keep the widget.

I can only give you my experience with Blogrush and that has been underwhelming, some of you may have had better results, if so let me know.

Here comes the OpenAds

A long long time ago I promised I would test out OpenAds and now I have some free space I am going to do just that. Right now as I type this I am uploading the files to the server. OpenAds is huge by the way, I have been uploading the 25-30MB of files for what seem like nearly an hour, I wonder if the chaps will come up with an OpenAds lite to go with their new look.
