A new site has been launched that allows publishers to let advertisers know that they sell ad inventory on their site. It seems quite an informal set up at For Sale by publisher. For publishers you just create an account and then add your sites. Advertisers can then view your listing. Potential advertisers (once they have created an account) can then contact you directly about advertising.
As a free service it will be useful to both publishers and advertisers. This is not the first service of it’s kind but it is one of the few that just allows publishers and advertisers to come together without any brokerage fees.
Text ad sale alternatives
There are a few other services that help with private link sales but charge a small listing fee. Other services to consider are the text ad brokerage services which although they take a commission have a larger user base and tend to be more productive.
